For Pleasure is a world beating show jumping
stallion who is already a living legend.
His comet-like career began with 149.95 points
in jumping at his stallion performance test. His
success and triumphs that followed are second
to none: from several German Championship titles,
several team European gold medals to several Olympic
team gold medals as well as World Cup wins and
many, many Grand Prix wins.
For Pleasure finished his sporting career in
2006 with staggering lifetime earnings of €1.8
million, behind ET (competing for Austria despite
his German birth) with over €3 million, but
in front of British legend, Milton who won €1.6
million and over thirty cars!!
For Pleasure's sporting and breeding success
is based on his exceptional pedigree. Furioso
II x Grannus, two brilliant performance carriers
meet directly in his lineage plus the great Gotthard
son "Goya" in the third generation.
For Pleasure is a breeding stallion with so many
successful offspring. To name just a few: For
Keeps under Lars Nieberg, Forsyth under Toni Hassmann,
Farina under Rene Tebbel, For Fun under Marcus
Ehning, For Future under Johannes Ehning and many
more. He is the sire of over 20 stallion sons
For Pleasure has the rare distinction of having
competed at Grand Prix level against two of his
progeny - the stallion, For Keeps and the mare,
Farina - in the Grand Prix at Wiesbaden 2005.
For Pleasure is now proving to be an exceptional
sire, indeed a sire of sires.
