Landor S can look back on exceptional performance
record in sport and breeding. Landor S is a true
champion with an immaculate exterior, three outstanding
basic gaits and powerful jumping ability.
In 1995 he was the winner of show jumper classes
and best 4 year old of the Oldenburg stallion
championship. In 1996 he won qualifications in
series for the Federal Championship with scores
up to 9.0, was State Champion 5 year old show
jumper in Rastede and 8th in the Federal Championship
finals. He was Bundeschampion in 1997, and voted
Oldenburg competition sports stallion of the year
at the Oldenburg stallion approval. In 1998 he
won his first advanced class. In 1999 he had placements
in many Grand Prix, was state vice-champion and
runner-up of Weser-Ems competition and won the
Volvo Cup S in Elmlohe.
Landor S comes from a highly successful line.
His full brother, Laertes, is a successful international
show jumper. Two other full brothers, Landwerder
and Lagoheidor, were Champion Stallion and performance
test winners respectively and have meanwhile reached
Grand Prix level in dressage.
Landor S uniformly transmits his type, charisma
and quality of movement to his progeny, who are
moreover characterized by their excellent rideability.
Landor S has sired more than 30 licensed sons
so far, including Lovis Corinth in 2002 and Lauterbach
in 2004, both Champion Stallions of the Springpferdezuchtverband
Oldenburg-International approval. In 2005 there
were new progeny highlights such as the Main Premium
winner with emphasis on jumping, Le Carolus, and
the bronze medallist at the Oldenburg State Championships,
Landliebste, who also became the most expensive
jumper at the Fall Auction. In Hanover, Landor
S presented a premium stallion and at the PSI
Auction a son of his was sold for €172,000.
His sons Lobster, Longford or Lord G, for example,
are internationally successful Grand Prix horses
and a large number are now entering advanced level.
Many of Landor S' offspring have reached the Bundeschampionats
and in 2004 eight of his progeny participated
in the World Championships for young jumpers in
Lanaken. The exceptional stallion, Wandor van
der Mispalaere was the Belgian Jumper Champion
in the class for five and six year olds. Landor
S also has daughters that make headlines: Lady
Madonna was the 1999 Oldenburg Champion Mare and
in 2002 Lady Heida was the German Champion Mare
with emphasis on jumping.
